The Turbo Guy is one of the UK's largest turbo remanufacturer and distributor, with over 5,000 units in stock, a mix of remanufactured, new aftermarket and OE turbo chargers.

The Turbo Guy was established in 2010, after identifying and filling a gap in the re-manufacturing market, there was no-one properly remanufacturing turbos in Scotland in any scale.

With the training from one of the parts distributors, The Turbo Guy set up their first workshop in Glasgow and quickly outgrew the premises and moved into new premises in 2013. Along the way they have built some strong customer and supplier relationships and continue to grow. 

The Turbo Guy started with 3 members of staff and has now grown to 35 members, where they currently re-manufacture 1,000 turbos per month.

Services & Technical Support

For all Turbo & DPF enquiries all they need is a registration number and The Turbo Guy will do the rest!

Their extremely knowledgable sales team have over 60 years of motor trade experience so between them they will make sure you are quoted the correct turbocharger, along with all the all the correct pipes and gaskets etc.

The sales team are happy to help with all of your technical queries and if there is anything they cannot answer they will put you through their technical department.

Along with every turbo supplied we have our common failure sheet to help your customer assess the cause of failure, along with our turbo fitting step by step guide.

Commercial Terms

PAYMENT TERMS: 30 days (all prices are at net price)

SURCHARGE: All Reman and New Aftermarket turbochargers will have a £100 Surcharge, unless stated otherwise at point of sale, some units may be more as they are harder to source. All OE genuine units have a £150 surcharge with them.

The Turbo Guy collect all their old units at their own expense once the unit is booked on their online website. VIEW COLLECTION FORM HERE.

STOCK CLEANSE: return within 14 days no charge, after 14 days 10% handling charge.

WARRANTY: No Quibble warranty on first unit only with Remanufactured & New Aftermarket Turbochargers only. For all warranties, please contact the sales team with the registration of the vehicle and the issue of warranty turbo. The Turbo Guy knowledgeable sales team will give some advice to try and resolve the issue before supplying another unit.

If it cannot be resolved you will have to purchase another turbocharger which we will ship out for next day, once the warranty unit is removed from the vehicle and back at the branch, please fill out the warranty report on our website.

Once the form is filled out, The Turbo Guy will send a courier in at our expense to collect the unit and ship it to their third-party warranty company who will provide a non-biased report on our turbocharger.

CUT-OFF TIME TO ORDER: Cut off time for our next day courier service is 4:00pm

CARRIAGE COSTS: Turbo Purchases – Free of Charge; MOV is £100, less than MOV: Gaskets and pipes separately - £15+VAT; New DPF Supply - £20; DPF Cleaning - £15+VAT each way (£30+VAT).
